Communication Friendly Setting accreditation
We are over the moon to share with you all that we have now achieved the ‘Communication Friendly Setting’ accreditation, after completing the two-year Early Years Professional Development Programme.
Childrens vocabulary at the age of five is an indicator to their performance at GCSE level, so it is crucial they are given high quality support to develop their communication and language skills between the ages of two and four. The Department for Education funded programme was offered to local authorities with higher areas of deprivation as outcomes for children tend to be lower, and our team were keen to take up the challenge as their number one priority has always been to give the children of Salford the best start in life.
Completing the programme has boosted everyone’s confidence and three of our members of staff have even been inspired to apply for the Experts and Mentors Scheme to continue their learning and development.
Well done to everyone involved! #GoTeamSalfordFamilyNurseries
